Upcoming Photoshop Tutorial, Spammers and Thiefs
Hey Everyone! I thought it was time for another update. I want to share a few things with you about what has been going on behind the scenes at SignatureStop and what I have planned for the future.
- The upcoming Photoshop Tutorials
- RSS
- Content Thiefs and Spam
- Future Plans…
- Premium Members Updates
Photoshop Signature Tutorial
First of all, I have a few upcoming tutorials. I purchased some tags from a designer called nFx, who also created the Skate signature that I wrote a bout a few days ago. I will try to write a tutorial about each one of these, however the best tutorials will be kept for Premium Members Only. More about that later.
I know that recently the amount of updates have gone down. This is mostly because of a very busy real life schedule. I’m running an -almost- 1 man show here (though I appreciate all the help my good friend Fuat has given me) and writing tutorials is very time consuming. I promise that, when things calm down a little, more tutorials will be posted frequently.
Here’s a preview of the upcoming Photoshop Signature Tutorials:

RSS
We have a tiny RSS icon at the top left corner of the page. You can sign up on our RSS feed and recieve a little notification each time SignatureStop posts an update! The icon is hidden a little, however next to it is also our Search Box you can use to find articles or posts about a certain subject on Signature Stop.
Content Thiefs and Spam
My logs show a lot of traffic lately, mentionning a lot of Hits but not a single Pageview. This means that websites literally Copy + Paste my entire tutorial, edit out the credit text, and re-posting this on their website. Most of the time they don’t even bother reuploading the images, so this results in a chunk of bandwidth taken away without a single mention of SignatureStop. I would hereby like to take the opportunity to tell everyone that you may not under any circumstance copy, modify, or redistribute any of the tutorials on any other website whatsoever.
To get back at these “content thieves” I am removing most of the images from my host and renaming them in the original tutorial. I will then upload a picture with the text “..This website is stealing content…” and the likes to notify their users that the article does not belong to them. I apologize if you hotlinked to a picture to showcase something and that picture has now turned into something else.
So, if you come across a website copying any of these tutorials, please send me an email or place a comment below.
Premium Members Update
I’ve placed some new very good looking PSD files online for premium members. Right now to become a premium member, you have to Sign-Up using a credit card. I’m trying to change it so you can join simply by sending the funds from your account (people without a credit card) rather than having to use your credit card. If anyone has any suggestions, please feel free to let me know. I’ve also finnished another premium members tutorial, definitely worth checking out!
Premium Members can sign up here!
Future Plans…
I have some big new release planned for SignatureStop, however don’t expect to see it very soon as it’s still in the very early stages of setting up. We will be developping a system where users can login and submit their own tutorials to a special tutorial listing. We will feature a tutorial of the month that Premium Members and myself will monthly decide in a voting poll. This tutorial listing will be specifically focused at Signature Tutorials, Large Piece tutorials, Cinema4d tutorials and the occasional miscellaneous tutorial.
a sneak preview:

Premium Members will be able to watch the process and updates close by in the Premium Member Section. Sign up now!

After reading the article, I just feel that I need more info. Can you share some more resources ?
I couldn’t agree more about content protection. I really enjoyed finding your blog and finding some interesting new techniques and styles. Keep up the good work and yes not a bad idea to change filenames.
I hate people that cheat, whether it’s in video games or in real life. Stealing someones elses work is just plain low.
Keep up the good work. I’m still just a noob and looking to learn as much as I can. So far I have really enjoyed the tuts, mine didn’t quite come out as good, but I did manage to learn from it, which is why I’m here.
